So I don't ride a sport bike. I installed this on a Yamaha V Star 1300 Deluxe. The short windshield that was attached to the fairing shook so badly it looked like someone had smeared petroleum jelly on my glasses. I replaced the windshield with a taller one and the shaking was fixed, but now I can't see in the rain and at six foot I still couldn't see over it. So I put that clip on shot and bam, problem solved. I can position the shield to direct the wind farther over my head and flatten everything out completely and still be able to see over the windshield.
