When I first started working professionally with cars, my first full-time job at a small shop allowed me to share tools with the owner because I bought my own . He's had several full-size Ernest roof rails, and everyday use of them won me over. They aren't cheap BUT they are amazing at what they do. These shorts are perfect for my set of scratch resistant sockets as well as the regular 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 that you find on the Japanese cars that I primarily work on. It's just easier to load your regular stuff onto smaller rails, or even ideal for smaller sets of specialty sockets like torx and hex bits if you don't use them that often. Seriously, get these or the full version to suit your needs, but they're great for everyday use.
