Update: I have to say it stays very bright for weeks, not just a few weeks. I've been using it for about 2 months and have only charged it once. I love it. Very durable! Okay, I had another light that I used. However, he continued to die in sub-zero temperatures. My friend had a similar collar and I really liked it, it's bright. I didn't want to buy a battery either as I'm bad at charging things. This collar is perfect. I grew up and it fits great. It stays very bright for over a week, almost 2. We use the light all the time. Dogs sometimes accidentally turn them on while playing, and that's okay. I thought it would drain the battery but it doesn't. I think I had it for about a month. I only loaded once. I totally love this case. I can see my dog from afar and even through the trees! I know exactly where he is. Which is great because it's so dark and I never know where it is. Very very happy! So we forgot to take the collar off when he started playing in the river this summer. I thought it was done because the lights don't go out. So we let it die and dry up. I didn't have to charge it back then, it lasted another month! He's still strong. I think maybe I charge every 6 weeks or so. We use it almost every morning.
