I've tried several different versions of slow feeders and by far, this one is the best. There is enough room, just enough, for my dogs to move the food around, slow them down, and eventually get the morsels. I have dachshunds, mini and regular. You'd think any bowl would work with their long noses but that's not true. I've tried 3 other bowls that they could not get to the food. This bowl works for them. I've bought 3 now in different colors. I really only need it for one of my babies, but the others were very curious, so they have them now too.
