The chair is secure and easy to assemble, great customer support and VERY comfortable to sit in. It's hard to go wrong if you follow the attached two-step assembly diagram. The toe ring comes with a heavy cardboard ring which I thought should be removed. But to be sure and to verify customer service I called the attached toll free number. Within 30 seconds I was put through to a representative who clearly knew what he was talking about (and yes, you remove that cardboard). A possible caveat if you plan to use the chair in a fixed position without wheels: it won't help. Work when the chair's center support tube goes through the base and touches the ground, making the chair unstable.
