Suitable for GTX 970 IF ORDERED CORRECTLY

I was building a new computer but wanted to take a fairly new power supply from my old build to the new one so I had to do something to accommodate this one substitute. I bought 500w which only have 8 pci output. The gtx 970 needs 8+6 and I didn't want to buy 650 watts for a media computer. This splitter only worked after I swapped input 6 and 8 PCI. It's not obvious what order it happens in, and there's no harm in getting it wrong the first time. The GPU is intelligent enough to recognize the voltage.
