Very easy installation. Highly recommend a hammer drill, it will speed up driving screws into studs without much effort. You will also need a good quality spike finder to help you find the center of the spikes. The only thing I could do better is change the height of the carrier a bit to allow the bikes to fold a little more when turning to face the wall. If you don't change the height of the mount enough, the handlebar will be level and prevent the bike from folding. Otherwise these things are built like a tank and mount/mount to bikes easily. Literally five of them managed to get attached to five hairpins in a row. Takes up much less space in the garage. Very satisfied.
