It only works when there is more than 1/4 gas in the tank.
The bottom of the transmitter is 1/4 inch from the bottom of the gas tank. This is a 12 gallon tank. I can shake the gas tank and it will move, but only if it raises the gas high enough. I thought it was my wiring until I put my weight on the boat and saw the sensor rise.
