I had to replace the toaster because it didn't eject the bread so it continued toasting after it was done. So far this works fine. My old one ran for about 5 months before it started having problems so I'll update this review when it stops working. A simple toaster is here. You have to push the lever down hard for it to start toasting. Sometimes I have to press twice if I'm not putting enough pressure on him. I have no problem with it as long as it stops frying when the cycle is complete. The main thing is that everything roasts evenly and from both sides. The bagel setting is good, it toasts the inside more than the outside of the bagel. Once that's done, it ejects the bread and completes the cycle. No ringing or anything like that, but you can hear it popping up. A few darkness settings and that's it. You can always harden the sides, they will NEVER get hot. A normal toaster works fine. Nothing special, but nothing expensive either.
