I ordered this collar because my Sportiva collar finally failed. I didn't want to pay a fortune for another collar when I could find the same quality but cheaper. So here I am... I took a chance and my first day of use went well. I love that my dog responds to strong (and adjustable) vibrations. She has never done that with a Sportiva collar. I tried the shock on myself and 15 (out of 99) was a lot. Even at my youngest and most rebellious time, I never thought I would make it to 99. It rained all day so seems waterproof. Once she gets in the water I'll update if needed. My only complaint is with the buttons. Even if I choose the vibration setting, if I accidentally press the shock button, it will shock me. This may be a user issue, but after reading the quickstart I couldn't find anything specific to fix this issue. For example: costs!
