Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Experience Next-Level Gaming Audio with Creative Sound Blaster Z SE Internal PCI-e Sound Card and DAC by Elmito Yeager

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very, very old for internals

Before you buy, ask yourself if you're willing to pay $100 for a ten year old sound card. The enclosed CD contains the Windows 7 software. The manual refers to Windows 7 and 8. There is no mention of 10. Apparently because it was produced, packaged and on the shelf a long time ago. And the price has never gone down. Does it work on Windows 10? Yes, it seems to be working fine. You have to live with all the old-fashioned installers and software. And you have to wonder if it will continue to be supported since it's already so old. I remember buying a Sound Blaster card for my Macintosh back then. Creative made many promises but in reality they never fully endorsed the card and abandoned it almost immediately, leaving me with a very expensive paperweight. My anger about it has evaporated in the last 15 years. Now it's back because I seem to be paying $100 for Windows Vista junk. OK, creative. If you care about your customers at all, you should lower the prices of your almost-obsolete offerings.
