Received this because my wife and I are trying to lose a lot of weight. It works very well for apples, in most cases it cleans them perfectly from the core. My biggest issue is that the plastic on the sides where the rails are is not as strong as it should be. And then the guides should line up perfectly to descend smoothly, which is easy to fix. We made oranges, they work pretty well but kinda mash or mash. If it were sharper, it might work better. But we got it more for apples than anything else.
