Bought this for my iPhone XR because the phone is too big to fit in my pocket and closed it with one hand in the case use. This case made the size of the phone more manageable. I'm the guy who always has a case on my iPhone, and the XR was the first model to go without a case for a long time. The XR was much nicer to use without a case. The material inside hasn't scratched the glass surface at the time of writing, about 3 months of use. However, the material on the inside is almost worn out at the edges due to the repeated removal and insertion of the phone and case. Although the inner material is worn, it still has no scratches. The leather-like exterior makes it easy to carry in your pocket, while a small strap on the back makes it easy to remove the phone from the case. The case stays as thin as possible when you put an iPhone XR phone in your pocket. I can only recommend this case in this price range. Don't pay too much for covers or sleeves.
