Shoes look tight (I have Fred Flintstone feet) but leather is soft and stretches easily. I didn't notice much extra room on these banks as others have discussed. The soles are made of soft rubber, so they feel softer than regular heels and more like running shoes. I tend to feel pain in my feet a few minutes after putting my heels on and I wore them for several hours on the first day without pain. The hook and buckle system of the T-Strap takes some getting used to (put the strap in the hook and the decorative element holds the shoe strap). My feet also tend to swell and the strap has a bit of stretch, so it gives way. I highly recommend them , I'm thinking of getting them in a different color Cons: I'm overweight and the shoes felt a bit flimsy when walking I would urge caution as it seems the shoe stretches between the heel and cushion when I I'm deducting a star because of that, but to be honest I think these are great shoes for the price
