I chose this brand of pot for my continuous brewing of kombucha because it was made in the USA. There are other less expensive shards out there, but I wanted to make sure there was no lead in the glaze. I just started my first batch of CB over the weekend so haven't used it for a long time. So far I haven't had any leaks, cracks or other issues with the glaze or ceramic. The faucet is very well made and the pitcher is heavy. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to other people buying a CB kombucha brewing vessel. I will change my rating and review if I come across any unresolved issues in the future. I don't expect that as I've noticed that Sauerkrock responds to customer complaints. Thank you Sauerkrock for a quality product!
