I have these devices on my cats (definitely NOT too big for cats as one reviewer claimed) because they love to roam our country property. I turn them on when they go out at night, each cat is a different color and you can see them clearly. I've also used large, heavy silicone balls, but they're lighter, smaller, and better suited to cats. I've also used plastic turn signals with metal plugs, which glow great but fry when wet. They even survive with my cat tending to dip him in a bowl of water. BUT the thin piece of silicone that connects to the collar breaks easily. I broke the last one trying to replace the battery. Before that, one of my cats tore it up. Make this piece more durable and it will be a great product. Be that as it may, they barely last the life of a battery or two with regular use.
