Review on πŸ”§ Lisle 65700 Broken Plug Remover Kit: A Must-Have for Ford 3V Engine Owners! by Jason Man

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product! It works. 2 plugs removed, big savings. Best price on the web, fast delivery. A+`

At first I was skeptical. Not the product's fault, but Ford didn't happily let this happen and didn't take responsibility for it and didn't fix it. (Ford F-150, Lariat, Triton 5.4) This product works. It didn't work as "easily" as the video's reviewers said, but it's okay, it worked. I really had to do the first part where the glass in the spark plug breaks and the tip pops out. the end. It doesn't push it all the way into your cylinder. I've attached a picture of what the candle looks like after extraction. (Make sure you bleed the cylinder just in case, it won't hurt. I know I got some dirt in the threaded part of the cylinder head, period. The truck burned it right away.) After the first part should You use the reverse threaded part to "drown" into the top of the remaining spark plug - what you can see in the picture, it's still threaded into the rest of the spark plug. You will need to use the included boot/sleeve to thread it down into the top of the spark plug. But try as I might, he didn't stick with him from the first fork. I had to remove the socket and feed it into the top of the plug to make it work and then put the socket back into the hole in the plug around the tool. and he clung and worked better. Unfortunately I forgot to mention that the kit was clearly "USED" when I received it - returning. I think some people use it once and then return it. One star for false advertising. But hey, best price in town, half the price they charge for auto parts (Advanced, Autozone, OReilly's, Napa). That is, even if they are available or sold under that brand. Watch the video on Youtube. EPICautoSHOP's version of how to do this extraction with this tool: How to Remove a Broken Ford Triton 5.4L V8 Spark Plug is by far the best and easily explains the process and what to expect. Of course no youtube video explains my problem (or will cover all problems) of not fitting properly to grab the old scrap, but hopefully you have some mechanical skills and can figure out how to overcome such simple road obstacles yourself. As for Ford haters or smart aces who say you shouldn't have bought a Ford, all I can say is that we bought a used truck. and we love it. Factory elevator, drives like a new truck, goes through everything, 6 seats, costs less than $10,000. There is not a single car that does not have some oddities and problems. So I'm going to live with this one time deal because the pros far outweigh the cons.

Pros
  • Arouses trust
Cons
  • Out of fashion
