User-friendly: thermometer and timer
For checking the temperature of meat, especially poultry, but also roasts. It turns on when you open it, which is handy. I haven't checked the calibration yet. I highly recommend testing all thermometers by immersion in ice water and boiling water, bearing in mind that altitude changes the boiling point of water.
