I love Christmas villages, every year I try to get a new building and this year I wasn't particularly excited. I saw this and although it's very different I decided to give it a try. I try to decorate everything for the holidays, it's literally my favorite Christmas item (and toppings) so if it lasts long enough it's ready to be decorated. I love putting things on bookshelves throughout the house and this year it was one of the things I put there. Love that it glows, I usually have to figure out how to light it up, but this one sat on a shelf with lots of greenery, some vintage ornaments and a stack of holiday books. It looked very nice. While not your typical rustic Christmas item, it was still a lovely addition to a little corner on a bookshelf.
