The chair is no more comfortable than a $20 chair you can buy at walmart, except it reclines.well sort of. You are supposed to lift up on the back of the seat and lean it back to recline. 1. you cannot easily do this while sitting in the seat, you have to get out of the chair, adjust it and sit back down, 2. when you sit back down the back returns to upright. The only way to make it work is to have someone else try and recline it from behind while you sit in the seat. Once you can get it situated, it is nice and having the leg rest is nice as well. The leg rest/table did come in handy when someone else wanted to come sit and talk, but, if you wanted to use it as a table, what every you put on it better be flat (like a plate). It is not a solid surface to put a drink, or anything that might spill. The wing bolts that secure the table to the chair have fallen out a few times. We have already lost one after it fell out "who knows where". These aren't your regular pieces of hardware you can find at Homedepot or Lowes. Would I buy this again, no, at least not for the money they are charging.
