Review on πŸ’ͺ Intel Core i9-9900K - Unbeatable 8-Core Desktop Processor with 5.0 GHz Turbo Boost and LGA1151 Compatibility by Justin Verslues

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great gaming processor, bring a great cooler.

Runs great, easily overclocks to 5GHz on all cores, but be prepared for some serious heat, especially under load and/or testing. Before you try to overclock or push this chip, make sure you have a decent AIO water cooler or a super awesome air cooler. In terms of performance, my only focus is gaming, and he eats games for breakfast. Play brand new games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey at 100fps like nothing, there's plenty of headroom. Barring some massive game-changing developments over the next few years (perhaps DDR5 RAM?), this should guarantee you a future as good as any chip, maybe 3 to 5 years depending on how next-gen consoles launch ( i.e. when the PS5 starts up). with 16 cores (very doubtful) which could become the standard for gaming and your 8 core 16 thread machine is starting to look dated (even more questionable). thing will not be able to absorb for many years. I'm happy with my purchase and the price (bought for $530) is high but I'm not too worried because they have a price for most, with 9700k, 9600k, 8700k all more than able are able to deliver a fantastic gaming performance for a lower price. Let's be clear, I don't think you're buying this for gaming because you need it, you're buying it because it's the best (mainstream) processor out there and because you feel secure about the future (maybe, maybe you never will). didn't know oops). I love knowing that I have loads of energy for the next big game next year. If you feel the same way then do it, you will most likely enjoy it. If you are on a budget and have to choose between this or a great GPU, by all means prioritize the GPU and buy a 9700k, 9600k or even an 8700k or 8600k depending on how much you have left. show it and show it to your friends. 0.o
