Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

Just so you understand, the stress test is 255 watts, without any overclocking, moreover. In general, I do not recommend, because of the nightmarish price and wild real temperatures. I do not recommend taking CBO to him, categorically. Pros below: Significantly increased the cache of the first level, solder appeared Cons: The solder is very bad, the Skylake bus is designed for 4 cores maximum, it did not receive a scalable or newer Zeon bus, there are only 2 channels, which is nothing for such…

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I am very pleased with the processor as a whole, it’s not worth driving it at 5x8, there’s little sense, and there are much more problems with consumption and temperature . Different pros: I9 990k performance for 2022 in home use without complaints, with a margin for the future With its cons: Beautiful figure 5.00 GHz on the box! But this figure is not for all cores, but in turbo boost for 1 core . you can take 5 GHz for all cores, but the temperature even under nzxt kraken x72 for all cores…

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

For my part, I believe that this chip was solely released for the purpose of preserving Intel's dominant position in the mass market because AMD's Ryzen should have been a significant source of concern at the time. And so, a fantastic processor with five years of life left in it. This page also contains a video version of the review: Got pros: The currently available product with the most processing power in the mainstream market. Solder under the lid. With dropsy The Deepcool Captain 360 EX…

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Its pros: Top processor for the platform at 1151, 9 cores, 18 threads. Boost up to 5GHz. Heat dissipation on my stone is quite acceptable paired with Dark Rock Pro 4 did not heat up above 75-80 degrees With its cons: The price tag, even after the release of the 11th generation, does not fall much, but is already acceptable

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I assembled a new system unit to replace the i5 6600 - the difference is colossal in almost all tasks and games. Finally got rid of friezes / subsidence of FPS and other roughness. Cooled by the DARK ROCK PRO 4 super tower without any problems.

Pros
  • Ultimately powerful at the time of purchase. Reserve for several years ahead.
Cons
  • The price is beyond good and evil: 40.5k for a boxed version, and taking a non-boxed one means staying with a guarantee purely from the store, which in most cases is almost equivalent to the complete absence of a guarantee. Without forced overclocking, it runs at a frequency of 4.7 maximum

Great gaming processor, bring a great cooler.

Runs great, easily overclocks to 5GHz on all cores, but be prepared for some serious heat, especially under load and/or testing. Before you try to overclock or push this chip, make sure you have a decent AIO water cooler or a super awesome air cooler. In terms of performance, my only focus is gaming, and he eats games for breakfast. Play brand new games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey at 100fps like nothing, there's plenty of headroom. Barring some massive game-changing developments over the next

Works on Z370! - Computer Components

Replaced my i7-8700k with this i9-9900k on the Asus Maximus X Hero Z370 motherboard. It works! I was skeptical after seeing the reviews of how much power this processor draws, but it runs flawlessly on the premium Z370 board. I also only use the 240mm All-In-One cooler and I think overclocking all cores to 5.0GHz will hardly be enough, although that might be interesting for long sessions on hot summer days! Overclocked to 4.8GHz. @ 1.20v5.0GHz @ 1.25v5.1GHz @ 1.28v5.2GHz @ 1.35v5.3GHz @…

Heat and throttling

This is a beast combined with Asus z390 Maximus Hero and 32GB gskill 3200 cl14, but. can currently compete with AMD in the market, it runs very fast but also lowers the frequency greatly due to temperature and power limitation. I installed a Noctua NH-D15S with two fans and the temperature rises to a high 70sC and peaks up to the mid 80s when gaming is just unreasonably high temperatures compared to overclocking the i7 5820k to 4.2 which was in the mid 50s with a smaller one CPU cooler. The…

Avoid crashes and blue screens, please read.

Reviews speak for themselves. 8 cores and 16 threads are great for gaming and multithreaded applications. I overclocked all cores to 5GHz with a manual setting of 1.33V using the Intel Burn Test on "max" test settings. I chose the noctua d15 as the cooler. and with Asus Maximus xi hero motherboard. I want to say this to hopefully help someone, especially if you are using an Asus motherboard and are about to overclock. This should save you from the blue screens and crashes that many people try…

Fast and Hotter than Hell

No doubt it's fast but CPU heat is ridiculous. I put this play area together for my son. Asus ROG STRIX Gaming E Z390Asus ROG STRIX 2070 OC GPUI9-9900kG. Slow shipping faster than CPU replaced

It took a month for delivery so minus one star. I was tempted to cut off another star because I was expecting 10nm by now. But they've done a pretty good job with that another 14nm processor. Let's all take a moment of silence as Moore's Law is officially repealed. Rest in peace. - Runs 40-100% faster than the 4 year old 6-core 22nm i7-5820K it replaced on all my workloads. - The i9 uses a fraction of the power compared to that old x99 chip and heats up less when used lightly. Peak power around

Pleasant surprise I consider myself one of the lucky ones

So, after a very long wait (I pre-ordered on October 20, 2018), my brand new shiny I9 9900K is finally in my hands. I got a little frustrated when I started reading all over the internet that people who pre-ordered after me got their product before me. Last Friday the 16th I spoke to a Revain representative online and he said give him five days and they will "get me the product". I took his word for it, although I have to admit I thought he would only say what satisfied me. Then, the day after…
