I was looking for a lightweight backpack that was inexpensive, could hold water on the outside and felt sturdy. It was a bit heavy at just under 10 ounces (0.28 kg), but every other box was noted. I took it out of the box and knew right away it wasn't 10 ounces. In fact, it's over a pound and a half, more than double the advertised weight. Pros: Appears to be durable, "Helmet Net" has convenient storage, reasonable internal organization, much cheaper than a GG, MLD, KS UL backpack. Ultralight or something like that. Cons: Significantly overweight. It has a rigid, non-removable frame film, which, like the packaging, is constantly bent in half and does not allow the bag to be packed in other luggage. This thing is bathed in unnecessary sewn-in straps. The ratchet straps are located outside of the side pockets and therefore cannot be used properly with water bottles installed. The water bottle pockets are very narrow, barely fitting a 700ml bottle of Smart Water, but god help you if you want to slip a Nalgen in. I have to decide whether to go through the hassle of returning it or try to salvage the pack by cutting and removing the frame foil, cutting a few yards of unnecessary webbing and building a new tensioning system.
