As someone who's always loved the synergy that comes from combining a well-staged light show with music, I've invested quite a bit of time and money in search of the same magic as you can find on the crowded dance floor at 4am in a more convenient package. As I got older it became a more "mature" dream version with a well-tuned sound system and a couple of music-responsive LEDs to cast a shadow on a big TV screen with a good visualizer. in my bedroom where a bottle of water is provided free of charge and there is no curfew. I've poked around for a while but pretty much gave up on the LED idea as every LED strip I've tried has been too sensitive at volume to music so spasmodic and fast that I always felt transported into a place of acute paranoia than to a place of synergistic energy with music. I've tried everything from covering the audio input box on my LEDs with tape to sealing all audio input boxes in foam cases but unfortunately I've had no luck. The lights danced to their own crazy rhythm, which mostly had nothing to do with the music anyway, due to the delay between the input picking up the sound and the light reflecting it. But I'm glad I kept looking because these lights stand out from the rest head and shoulders. Firstly, there is no lag between the sound and the response of the lights. In fact, I thought they were running a music analysis program I'd uploaded to the app a while back, until it occurred to me that the setup was literally "plug and play" for them. Love it, good sync between lights and music is crucial and these lights do a good job. The second great feature here is that the SENSITIVITY IS ADJUSTABLE! Simply press the brightness selection buttons up or down to change the sensitivity accordingly. it's so cool I can set them to respond to just the bass, or all rhythmic touches, or even the rhythmic aspects of the song and note changes. I like this because some songs just need to focus on the main beat of the track, while others (especially the slower songs) benefit from the richness that a color change or pulse of light can bring to all of the song's unique rhythms. Which brings me to my last point. They have four different musical settings, again a first in my musical lightbar experience. You can have the lights pulse to the beat or change color to the beat in different styles that emphasize the choppy, finely tuned rhythm of a trap song or the flowing melodies of Vivaldi (great fun to experiment with). !) I like these lights, will be getting more of these soon. Oh, and yes, the adhesive isn't the best, but as someone who has dealt with this issue with almost every light strip I've tried, I was prepared with a roll of Gorilla double-sided tape and hold it nice and straight to the corners of my table. If you've been wading through all the different music LEDs on Revain and not sure which one to pick, I highly recommend them!
