Review on 🍡 Xloey Long-Handle Tea Infuser Ball (2 Pack) for Loose Leaf Tea - Stainless Steel Tea Strainers for Optimal Brewing by Elizabeth Sheldon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Pole material and strainer are not good enough for straining tea leaves!

Update to this review after using them for a week: I was a little disappointed in them as they don't look like high quality stainless steel. In fact, the butt/top appears to be almost plastic. When I tap it against the counter it doesn't make a nice sound like stainless steel. Sounds like plastic. It's also not the color that stainless steel is. But maybe it's because everything is empty? Everything is very easy. I have a feeling the SS could even be aluminum, except the color is different from aluminum. I'll update this anyway if I find it different. I bought it on purpose because 304 SS was written on it. Again, I'm not sure, but I have a feeling it's not all 304 stainless steel. The spring mechanism is great and easy to use. I bought these for our family to use when making hot tea and the kids can easily use them too. They're not that bad to clean. We shake them in a bowl of water or hold them under the tap right after use. They are (obviously) much more difficult to clean when the tea leaves are dry. STRETCH is not very good! We use good quality loose tea, straight from a quality tea company. And also. The holes are not good enough for the tea leaves. We again use a fine-mesh stainless steel hand sieve to prepare the tea. So overall we are not satisfied. Nice concept but the execution and finish of this product is not what we expected. We are a big family drinking tea and coffee and I am very disappointed.
