You really need to put a "DO NOT TOUCH WHEN IT'S LIT" sticker on top. I burned the shit out of my thumb. I thought the way to put out the candle is to roll up the frame and press the top after it's been lit for 30 seconds. I had a huge blister for over a week, the good news is I no longer need to have my fingerprints professionally removed as they have been burned. The folding function is also quite unsteady. It doesn't break down at all. The glass is wax splattered and fingerprint stained if you do as they suggest and slide it down to light the candle. I learned (the hard way) to unscrew the base each time and light the candle that way (pull all the way out). You can blow it out through the top, but NEVER TOUCH THE TOP! All in all I like the candle well enough and I will keep it. I like the safety factor, not the burning of fingerprints with the safety factor, but how the flame is closed when lit and can't ignite anything around it. It's also easy to move from room to room with it.
