I bought these to use with other NetDot Gen 10 Magnetic Cables so I could have an entire system of Fast Charging Magnetic Cables between my house and car . In theory it should have worked. Unfortunately, none of these adapters will work with other NetDot magnetic products. If I want to plug into my phone and then use the NetDot system to connect to cables at home, in the car and elsewhere, I need to buy EXACTLY THE CABLE AS THIS PLUG CABLE FOR EVERY LOCATION I need to install the cable. Since one of the places I need cables calls for a 10 FEET CABLE, it's going to be damn expensive. In addition, I had to equip about five places. These adapters should simplify things by allowing you to use pre-wired cables and simply plug those cables into the NetDot magnet system. However, NetDot ensures that their cables and adapters use opposing charge magnets, so you CANNOT use an adapter to connect to any of their cable systems. Very frustrating. As for the performance of the adapter itself? They work fine. The adapters have an LED indicator that tells you when they're on, which is nice. They slide easily into their ports, but they're a rock BITCH to get out of your device once it's plugged in, so be prepared if you need to remove it. The magnets are strong, hold the connection well and connect easily. They were strong enough to support the weight of my Droid Moto Z2 Force in the Otterbox by gently lifting the cable. Not strong enough to withstand a cable shake or cable pull, but that's understandable as this is more of a magnetic connection. So an adapter for the sake of the adapter? Good equipment. I would give them 5 stars if they were compatible with their own product. But it doesn't, so only 3 stars because it's just stupid not to be compatible with your own stuff.
