Review on Tiki Cat Luau Wet Food: Poultry or Fish in Consomme for Adult Cats & Kittens, Grain & Potato Free! by Shannon Chisholm

Best quality, affordable price

This is the highest quality food I can afford for my one year old cat. She was just diagnosed with feline asthma. I did my research to eliminate all possible causes of her symptoms and found that fish can be a trigger for some cats. All her life she has mainly eaten wet fish food. (This flavor contains tuna oil. How this affects TBD.) If you look at the composition of cat food, you'll find that many grain-free chicken dishes are very high in fat and lower in protein than seafood dishes. . It's not like this. It's high in protein, fairly high in fat, and no carbs at all. This is why, in addition to the quality ingredients and cost, I chose to feed this to my cat. This food is made in Thailand. The jar specifically says "pet food only". As for the black spots, I bought a couple of 2.8 ounce cans locally to try before buying in bulk and they had some spots. The 6 oz cans I received today have no stains at all. (See photos.) Not sure if the issue has been fixed or if it only affected the smaller lenses. Remember that the number of calories in food varies based on the amount I fed my cat Sheba Pate (a great, widely available option!) but she required 3 cans of this product per day and only one 6 ounce can, to meet their nutritional needs. Eventually the difference in the cost of a day to feed it was reduced to pennies instead.)
