Failed to load media. I compared the iGaging EZCal to 6 other digital calipers in this video review. The iGaging EZ Cal digital caliper stands out slightly in quality and accuracy from the other two main competitors in the sub-$30 price range (Neiko and Carrera). Comparing side-by-side, it's undeniable in terms of build quality and finish. You can tell they've taken extra steps in polishing and finishing, making them look smoother and more professional. It's also evident that they build them to much tighter tolerances than Neiko and Carrera. There is no "retraction" or "backlash" between the caliper and the control block, hence it received the highest score of any caliper for accuracy and repeatability. The display is HUGE and covers most of the gauge body. In general, everything is very smooth. Although its big brother, iGaging OriginCal, took first place for its absolute home position function, I have no hesitation in trusting EZCal for critical measurements down to 0.0005", which I wouldn't say for Neiko or Carrera.
