Our son is almost 48 inches tall and weighs about 42 pounds. He can wear it, but it's bigger. We were able to fill the pants in layers and he was still able to move freely. We had to roll up the bottom part because it would stretch on his boots. We love it because we didn't see any wet spots when using these pants because they close well. In general we are happy with it.
