At this point I can say that this microphone is great for simple "home recording" projects. Example: The purpose of my purchase was simply to record an interview with my mother about her life. Before beginning the interview, I did extensive sound testing of this mic and found that it sounds best when held 7 to 8 inches from your mouth. Any distance, larger or smaller, results in too little or too much feedback. If you want to record live music you'll probably want a more professional (more expensive) model, but this one is ideal for recording conversations. Also, it is very easy to use! I just plugged it into a USB port, opened the recording software, hit the "REC" button and that's it. Its reasonable price is also a nice touch. If this mic isn't working properly or I have other issues, I'll update this review. But for now I can only recommend it.
