Lexar has died, unfortunately a Chinese company (Longsys) seems to have bought their brand but neglected any quality control. The first one I bought and turned on music died a day later without warning. I sent it back to Amazon hoping to exchange it for another brand but unfortunately that wasn't possible and they sent a replacement for the original. He survived for several weeks and also died. and now it is out of its replacement period. Both are completely irretrievable, so do yourself a favor and put your money and sanity elsewhere. I will no longer look at their products. you have been warned
