Otherwise it's a good heavy duty vise and should outlive me. One day my son will enjoy it. Wilton should do better on the worm shaft screw. The threads are uneven and tight, making the shank weak. Also, the back of the bolt and nut is exposed. A housing cover must be provided to protect against foreign objects! For the price it should also be more tolerant. Happy with the discount otherwise it would have gone back to the manufacturer. Wilton should consider delivery practices and quality control. Finally, trust that this is no longer made in the USA. Possibly Taiwan. Didn't know it until I bought it. Discouraging.
