They're bright, but the "dim" level is only about 20% dimmer than the "bright" level, which doesn't make much of a visual difference. Because of this, it is difficult to see the brake/turn signal signal above the standard rear light brightness. The saving grace is that the third brake light on the car adds an extra brake light that is usually off. However, this does not help the brightness of the turn signal. I'm not sure I'll keep them in my car. I'm not even sure if they will pass the test. We'll see in a few days.
