Review on 🧂 Impressive Stainless Steel iTouchless Automatic Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set with Adjustable Coarseness and LED Light – Battery Operated – 1 Set (2 Count) by Jason Graham

I love these grinders and would like to give them 5 stars but they have a few issues: 1) They use 6 AAA batteries, most electric coffee grinders only use 4 AA batteries. But they seem to last longer than AA's, and the finish is about the same. 2) Like all push-button coffee grinders, they're short on durability. For some reason, gravity powered coffee grinders hold 1/2 cup (or more), while they hold about 1/3 cup when you fill them all the way. 3) The black bottom plastic covers are VERY loose. I have consistently found that the lids get left behind when the grinder is moved from the stand to the table top or whatever. With no cap/lid, they leave salt or pepper drips wherever you put them. Eventually one was left somewhere and lost forever, which led me to point 4. 4) After emailing iTouchless customer service to replace the bottom covers, it took 3 emails within 8 days to get a response. They said they could ship them for as little as $21 each (plus $5 shipping). Needless to say, I told them how grateful I was that a piece cost only $4 more than what is often paid for a pair of new coffee grinders. Which then led me to Issue 5. I figured since they are almost 18 months old I could justify buying a new pair and would leave one uncapped on my grill where a small leak outside wouldn't be a big deal. So I ordered a new pair. 5) A replacement pair arrived, one of which had a BROKEN (more specifically defective) bottom cover. This was not noticed at first, since it was a casting error - most of the "edge" that goes into the meat grinder was missing. So he fell off even easier than the others. So now I have 4 iTouchless grinders, 2 with bottom caps and 2 without. While they grind well I doubt I will ever buy this brand again and would only really recommend them to others if they are not concerned with bottom cap issues.
