Buying one size larger is best in my opinion
I bought this jacket for my son who wears a size 10. I ordered 12-14 and it fits him more like 10-12. This is a light weight that we wanted to use for Spring/Summer. Seems to be a decent one. My son loves the space look and I think it suits him.
