I received the black Kraco K2500 rubber mat in October 2010. It has been in heavy use on the driver's side for almost a year. Mileage about 30k. I can't tell the mat is new - it shows no signs of wear, even where the heel of my number 12 shoe is under the gas pedal. However, the mat is flexible and adheres well to the floor of my car. I tried "discount carpets". I have one on the passenger side of the car. under the driver's feet. Deep channels in the carpet perfectly trap dirt and debris and protect the carpet underneath. The mat also retains a significant amount of water, which is very useful on rainy days. The vehicle in question is not used in snow, so I cannot speak from experience of the mat's usefulness in snow. It retained its jet black color despite occasional removal and washing with a brush, soap and water. It was a very successful purchase!
