Simply beautiful and impressive. This is a really good alternative to chemex, plastic bags or coasters. The only design issue is access to the coffee while it's hot between cups (two full cups can easily be poured). There are two small "handles" for pouring, but separating the cone from the base is no easy task. It appears that by the time the cone is empty enough to hold without spilling coffee, the cone has cooled at the base. It would be nice to have a lid after pouring to keep the heat in (since ceramic isn't double walled) or a "sitting station" for the cone. when it's done to complete the last drop. (Trying to throw out the cone and filter before it's completely drained will leave you with hot residue and water on your hands, so it's a good idea to leave it on for a while before draining.) Not so good at it, retain heat after pouring, but better than pouring from a single-walled glass. Compared to all other single wall potting equipment this is pretty cool.
