I have three cats that spend most of their time in my bedroom. I bought it to circulate fresh air and prevent pet hair and dander. It's easy to set up. I like three speeds with the ability to turn the UV-C sterilizer on and off, including a timer/sleep function. The lowest speed is quiet and gets louder as you increase the speed. I've been using it for a little over two weeks and my room smells fresh. I've also noticed that my room has less pet hair when I sweep/vacuum, but I wish it removed more. If you want a portable cleaner, this is it. If you're looking for a cleaner that does a better job at removing pet hair, you'll need to look elsewhere.
