I've watched countless videos on how to make polygel. It was my first time ever, but personally it wasn't as harmless as the video. The instructions should also suggest that the polygel is wiped down with isopropyl alcohol after curing to remove/cure this top layer. It made such a difference. I found out about it from a comment on one of the videos. My nail bed is long and curved so the shape tips basically popped out and I had to go back and fill in the gaps at the base. I ended up just using a shape that was bigger than my nail and that helped a bit. I just bought a drill bit for the back and edges to clean it up. I ended up using a lot of gel to fill in the gaps but I think you can use 2 from a tube depending on how long you do your nails. The gel itself is excellent. Very hard/thick and I can say they will last a long time!
