easiest tape to use I've found so far

This is the third type of tape I've used for the project storage trailer. I first used light gray putty tape with very crumpled paper, then white XFasten butyl tape, and then this GSSI butyl tape. GSSI is by far the easiest to use. Wax paper is thick and smooth. The Xfasten was a good butyl, but when unrolling the wax paper stuck to the butyl and ripped, and my fingers got sticky trying to pry the paper out. The GSSI paper has never torn and the butyl dissolves wonderfully. The trick was to unroll a layer of paper so the butyl was visible around the roll, and then start unrolling the butyl and tape together. You have to hold the roller carefully and don't let anything touch it (a second pair of hands would be helpful but not essential), but this will keep the putty attached to the wax paper until you're ready to peel it off. It cuts beautifully with a razor blade. I ended up buying a second roll and will buy more GSSI if I need more.
