These mounts worked as intended. I had NO trouble installing them on my 90 gallon tank. They don't sag at all. For those of you having trouble, please read the instructions first. For you, Trisha, as far as I can see, you didn't follow the instructions. You have a rimless tank, you should use the spacers that come with the mounts. Use 2 pads you can use. Also, the lights should NOT rotate with this mount. I have 2 48" lights on the tank and none of them are sagging. What you have to do is try again with the two black spacers that come with the brackets. The instructions also say to use shims WITH RIMLESS tanks so you don't have the same problems as you. I have a rim on my tank and it went through with no problems. USE GASKET if you have a rimless tank. I had to use a washer on each bracket for my tank and if I didn't I would have the same problem but I read the instructions FIRST. By the way, if you have a tank less than 48 in length, you can use 1 bracket. If your tank is 48" or larger, you MUST USE 2 BRACKETS.
