Review on Audio-Technica AT-VMN95ML Microlinear Stylus Red - Enhanced Replacement for Turntables by Michael Tarlue

I've had this player for almost a year now and I really like the standard stylus that comes with it. I believe it was updated/remastered in 2018 and got some great reviews. Like many, I wanted to see if a more expensive needle really improved the sound. I did some research and settled on this one. I liked that all I had to do was take out the old pen and put in the new one. No adjustments required! They tubers recommend it, but Audio-Technica says you don't need it. I'm amazed I was really expecting snake oil but it was an instant change for the better. I kept coming back to the word "crunchy". Sound, drums, guitar solos, horns; of course. The added bass quality was also a big surprise! During my research, I've seen that it can take 25 hours to "get used to," but I've heard immediate improvements in quality. I've listened to about 10 records since I received them a few days ago and am very happy with my purchase.
