A year ago I had the Paul Mitchell original and decided to give it a try. These are poorly made. First, the top where the blades are inserted is always open, which allows the blades to fall out during use, which is unsafe. If left closed for a few minutes the plastic and blades rattle around and I can't cut freely with it knowing it could pop open at any moment. The seam of the blades shouldn't be set right there so they don't cut the hair well. As a stylist with 20 years of experience, I do not recommend her. They don't work well and are disappointed.
