Review on Biohome Ultimate Filter Media Aquarium by Kelsey Hoss

I updated my Biorb filter media as recommended by Pond Guru on YouTube which got my aquarium back on track. These balls of bacteria have been in my aquarium for 20 days now and no nitrite has appeared. When I used Seachem Stability bacteria in my other tanks I had nitrites by day 15. These bacterial balls are considered the best. not for me. My aquarium has always had 1ppm ammonia, everything is stable and no lights are burning, with plenty of medium to grow. I don't know why it takes longer than I'm used to. When the balloons arrived they were very warm in the envelope (yes, that sounded inappropriate, but I don't know how else to put it). I wonder if the heat killed the bacteria in my eggs (laughs)!
