These spacers center on the LUG-CENTRIC, not the hub. Your factory wheel studs should not protrude more than 1-1/2" from the hub to work with flat back steel wheels. Most alloy and aluminum wheels have cut outs on the back to accommodate protruding nuts when using a 1-inch -Spacer. Remember, spacers are only for appearance, vehicle position, or spacing of knuckle components. NOT for drag racing or off-road use. This 1/8" lip on your hub is only for the purpose of that To center the wheel when installed. It certainly will not support the weight of your truck. The distribution of vehicle weight across the wheels is solely dependent on the integrity of your wheel bearings. Their wider center actually reduces the weight of the spacer and spares wear on your wheel bearings .look ridiculously too wide, and they allow the inside nuts to fit perfectly (assuming they aren't longer than 1-1/2" from the hub) so they will work on ALL WHEELS, not just aluminum and alloys. Rear Exits **Requires tightening of inner lugs after 50 miles.
