I really tried these shorts. I like the material and I like the way they fit. I have small and medium and weigh about 135 pounds, about 5 feet 3 inches. If I really wanted the shorts to fit I would just keep the short ones (they were perfect) but I wanted them to fit. A loser's fit in these shorts isn't the best. I feel like if I pull the mid pants higher at the waist I run the risk of showing camel toes, but if I leave them at the hips the shape of the shorts looks really weird from the back. I just need to look for another brand of loose cotton shorts and maybe I can get some little ones from them.
