Normally works, but note that this is a limitation.
It measures pressure but uses a rubber hose which means you won't use it for that long, forget about traveling as the exhaust temperature will soon melt the rubber hose. You have a few comfortable seconds of useful work time. Just be aware of what it is. The gauge is still fully usable, just cut off the melted rubber and reattach the good rubber and there's plenty of tubing. I think it's possible to make a heat resistant extension cord, but it's not included.
