Plug and play but only for a week
This is the same box that DTV uses for installations where not all HD receivers are used . The price was great and I decided to save a few bucks. I climbed between the antenna cables and house cables to the attic. Great, now I have two HD DVR cables to record one show while watching another. Lasted a week. DTV paid big bucks to replace it with a good twin. I understand that most electronic devices either die quickly or last for years. You decide.
