Review on 💨 VEVOR S-993A Electric Vacuum Solder Sucker 100W: Highly Efficient Desoldering Gun with 1.0mm Nozzle by Dewitt Bhattacharya

Tip: Open the gun and add a few drops of hot glue to prevent arcing from damaging the circuit. See photos. This is for the S-993A explosive gun. I used it to desolder about 1300 bad components during a large project. It usually works fine, but I'm having trouble deleting it. Another reviewer mentioned adding a dielectric lubricant (silicone) to the trap tube. This really makes it easier to remove old solder. After a while (and lots of use) there was a loud POP noise and it stopped working. I disassembled the device and found that the AC-DC bridge rectifier had burned out. It looks like it might sparkle for a while before finally exploding. Rectifier marking - DB107. I have attached detailed photos.
